Chicken Wings
Air Fryer BBQ Chicken
Ingredients
- 3-4 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried onion
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- olive oil spray
- Barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Mix the spices and baking powder together in a small bowl.
- Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel. Put wings in a large bowl and slowly sprinkle mixture over wings (+ toss) until well coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees, add wings to air fryer and spritz with oil spray.
- Cook for 15-17 minutes, flipping wings half way through cooking. Internal temperature should be at least 165 degrees according to meat thermometer
- Remove from air fryer, brush with your favorite BBQ sauce (or do half with and half without sauce). Serve immediately - while hot and crispy.
