Chicken Wings

Air Fryer BBQ Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried onion
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • olive oil spray
  • Barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • Mix the spices and baking powder together in a small bowl.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel. Put wings in a large bowl and slowly sprinkle mixture over wings (+ toss) until well coated.
  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees, add wings to air fryer and spritz with oil spray.
  • Cook for 15-17 minutes, flipping wings half way through cooking. Internal temperature should be at least 165 degrees according to meat thermometer
  • Remove from air fryer, brush with your favorite BBQ sauce (or do half with and half without sauce). Serve immediately - while hot and crispy.
