Upside-Down Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 7 eggs slightly beaten
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. milk
- 10 slices Texas Toast bread (thick toast)
Instructions
Spread brown sugar over the bottom of a 11x17 pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and pour melted butter.
Mix milk, eggs and sugar in shallow dish. Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides. Arrange slices on sugar mixture.
Pour remaining egg mixture over the bread slices.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake 20min. at 400F.
