Amazing Pan-Fried Beef Liver
Ingredients
- 3-4 slices of frozen beef / pork liver
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2c milk
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2tbsp butter
- salt to taste (~ 1tsp)
- pepper to taste (~ 1/4tsp)
- paprika to taste (~1/4tsp)
Instructions
- Thaw the liver, place in a bowl and soak in milk for approx. 20 mins. Meanwhile, mix all dry ingredients in a shallow bowl.
- In a deep pan, fry the onion with butter until nicely translucent and soft.
- Drain the liver and place each slice gently in the dry mixture, coating on both sides. Then transfer to the pan, ON TOP of the frying onions. Repeat with each slice.
- Do NOT cover! Flip pieces of liver after about 2-3 mins on each side, trying to keep onion underneath the liver pieces.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
