Dimlyama Recipe
Dimlyama
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 squash
- 1 large onion
- 1 zuccini
- 2 potatoes
- 1 eggplant
- 4 chicken breasts (or drumstick equivalent)
- 1 cabbage
- 1 green pepper
- 1 red/yellow pepper
- 2 tomatoes
- 3 large carrots (or baby carrot equivalent)
- salt to taste
Instructions
Cut vegetables in rounds (except for: chop potatoes into chunks, slice peppers lengthwise, tear off cabbage leaves)
In a crocpot place ingredients in levels such that one ingredient covers one level.
Salt each level.
Starting at the bottom: add water
Cabbage leaves to cover the bottom of crocpot
Meat sliced if necessary
Onions
Potatoes
Zuccinis
Squash
Green peppers
Carrots
Tomatoes
Eggplant
Colored peppers
Cover with cabbage leaves and place the lid on top
Cook for 7-8 hours on medium heat.
