Seafood Doria
Ingredients
1 jar alfredo sauce (14oz?)
1 1/3 cup imitation crab or other seafood
3/4 can crab (optional)
1lb bacon
1 red pepper or other veggies (zucchini / squash etc)
1/3 cup thinly sliced onion
4oz mushrooms
1-2 Tbsp butter
Seasonings: garlic, oregano, dill weed
1/2 cup grated mozarella / parmesean mix
1/4 cup clam juice or use the juice from canned crab
Instructions
Reserve juice from canned crab in a container (if using canned crab).
Cook the rice, as you would normally cook rice.
Cook the bacon to your desired doneness.
Let the vegetables, onions and mushrooms simmer in butter until onions are they are pretty much cooked.
Add the sauce and veggies to a non-stick pot/pan, leaving about a quarter (maybe a bit less) to use later.
Mix in everything but the cheese, adding the rice last and only until the mixture between rice and other stuff looks good.
Season to taste.
Mix until sauce is evenly spread.
Preheat oven to 375-400F.
Pour the remaining sauce on top and add a layer of cheese.
Cook until cheese is browned (15-20min)
