Asian Coleslaw Salad Recipe
Asian Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1/4 c. (or less) vegetable oil
- 1/4 c. (or more) vinegar (red wine, balsamic, plain white)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt (opt)
- seasoning packet from Ramen noodles
- coleslaw package (either regular cabbage coleslaw mix or broccoli slaw)
- packette of crushed Ramen noodles (any flavor, but Oriental is best)
- sunflower seeds and/or slivered almonds
Instructions
- Mix vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, black pepper, seasoned salt and seasoning packet from Ramen noodles together.
- Mix in coleslaw package (either regular cabbage coleslaw mix or broccoli slaw)
- Add packette of crushed Ramen noodles (any flavor, but Oriental is best)
- Keep stirring occasionally for an hour or so, cuz the slaw will ‘melt’ down, & noodles will absorb and become soft.
- Add sunflower seeds and/or slivered almonds and stir in before serving.
