Tabouli Salad Recipe

TABOULI SALAD

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 3 lg. tomatoes
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil
  • 3-4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. bulgar/couscous (cracked wheat uncooked)
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Chop all vegetables VERY fine especially the parsley.

Mix all ingredients and let stand overnight. Keeps a week or so in refrigerator in tupperware bowl.

Alternatively, buy the Tabouli mix from grocery store. Follow instructions on the package and add fresh ingredients from above (don’t add oil or spices).
