Baked Asparagus

Oven-Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F. Wash asparagus and lightly bend each stalk to break it where it will naturally. Discard the bottom portion and keep the rest. Place the asparagus into a 1gal ziploc bag, and add all ingredients except olive oil. Toss to coat the spears, then add olive oil and toss again very well. Arrange the asparagus onto a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven until just tender, 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness.
